Misr Italia Properties has signed a joint collaboration protocol with the Egyptian Armed Forces Authority to establish a new national school, named “Al Assal Language School,” in the New Administrative Capital (NAC).

At an investment value of EGP 25 mn, the new school spans across 11,800 square meters, while comprising 56 classes for 1,500 students of different grades, the company’s chairman Hany El Assal announced the signing ceremony on June 17. He added that works are scheduled to be finalized by next September, coming in line with the government’s efforts to expand urban development in NAC and boost investments in human capital.

The educational project is fully funded by Misr Italia, who acquired the land plot from the Armed Forces National Lands Projects Agency, while the Armed Forces Engineering Authority will join forces with the General Authority for Educational Buildings to carry out its construction and implementation work.

“Cultural and educational activities come on top of Misr Italia’s priority list, as the school will be provided with a theater, various types of playgrounds, along with computer and multimedia labs,” the company’s chairman added.

Furthermore, the new venture comes as part of the company’s development program “Together We Grow” – or “Ma’a Ba’ad Benekbar,” under which Misr Italia has previously built two schools in South Sinai and Qalyubia provinces.
