The New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) has granted a one month for applicants to complete the 20% down-payment for the second phase of units in the Dar Misr project, reported Al Borsa.

The extension is only applicable for citizens who have won units through the public lottery, according to Tarek El Sebaey, Supervisor of Trade and Real Estate Affairs at the NUCA.

He further stated that the NUCA has implemented 25,600 units in the second phase of the Dar Misr project for middle-income citizens. The units are distributed across 6th of October, Sheikh Zayed, New Cairo, New Minya, and Borg El Arab cities.

The NUCA is also expected to deliver 31,000 units in the first phase of the project within eight new cities, along with facilities.

The total investments in the project have amounted to EGP 70 billion, after increasing the number of units from 150,000 to 250,000 units, El Sebaey added.
