Jeddah Urban Development and Real Estate Event – Powered by Cityscape got underway on Wednesday at the Jeddah Centre for Forums and Events and will run until Friday, November 4.

The event includes exhibitions, workshops and the award ceremony for the Real Estate Awards Jeddah 2016. Major players from Saudi Arabia and the UAE along with a few exhibitors from outside the GCC are all present, among them Turkish real estate developer Agaoglu and Egypt’s

The exhibition includes a virtual reality trip through Mada Residences, a tower project by ARTAR Real Estate Development. ARTAR’s CEO, Sulaiman Abdulrahman Al Rashid, remarked ahead of the event that “real estate has to adapt to keep up with the changing demands of investors and end users,“ also stating customers were more focused on value-for-money, quality and completion on time than a few years ago during the boom era.

Another exhibitor is Crystal Lagoons, a rapidly growing enterprise that utilizes modern technology to create artificial crystal clear lagoons of any size. The company will showcase at Cityscape Jeddah for the first time since its foundation not much more than a year ago.

Tilal Properties, a Sharjah-based developer, is also participating in the exhibition, showcasing its flagship projects Tilal City and Tilal Mall. Tilal Mall is the largest retail destination in Sharjah, and Tilal City will be a first-of-its-kind mixed-use development in Sharjah. Khalifa Shaibani, Director of Tilal Properties, described Jeddah Cityscape as „the perfect platform for us to bring those options to the market,“ stating that Saudi investors were looking for rewarding opportunities.

Cityscape Jeddah will end on Friday and is being held under the patronage of the Governor of Jeddah, Prince Misha’al bin Majed bin Abdulaziz. The events communications are being managed by Hadath International Group, a public relations and communications agency.
