Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities and several government officials have inspected the progress of the Dar Misr project, as well as road development in Shorouk City.

“The Ministry of Housing and Armed Forces Engineering Authority are committed to executing and delivering the units with the highest standards, and this project will be a landmark in new cities,” Madbouly said, commenting on the project.

There are 157 buildings currently being developed, with 3,768 units scheduled for completion by mid-2017. Construction work commenced in March 2016 for the foundational infrastructure of the buildings, as well as a school, nursery, and three commercial malls.
