Eight tenders were offered for 97 houses in villages in Assiut, Minya, Sohag and Qena, according to Mohamed Nasser, Head of the Central Agency for Development in the Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, reported Al Mal.

The tenders come as part of a project funded by the Social Fund for Development, which received the funding from the World Bank. The project is expected to be offered to real estate developers in the private sector.

Nasser added that applicants may obtain the terms and conditions for the tenders, in addition to making an insurance deposit of EGP 7,000, from the Central Agency for Development headquarters in northern Upper Egypt for the Assiut and Minya projects, and from the Sohag headquarters for the Sohag and Qena projects, according to Shorouk News.
