The Elite Real Estate Exhibition (EREEX) is set to take place at the Cairo International Convention Center from July 19-23, Daily News Egypt reported.
During the launch of the exhibition, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, Moustafa Madbouly, stated that the return on real estate investments in Egypt is no less than 25%, noting that the real estate sector has remained the only stable source of foreign revenues in Egypt in the past years of turbulence, Invest Gate reported.
He further noted that the investor had the guaranteed right to exit the market or projects at any time he wishes, confirming that investor rights are protected by the state.
Madbouly moreover announced that the third phase of private-public partnership programs with the ministry, represented by the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) is about to commence, for both foreign and local investors.
EREEX, an international real estate exhibition, acts as a meeting point for developers in Egypt and the Arab Region. The exhibition is organized by Eskan Global, a Kuwaiti Company, which specializes in planning international exhibitions across various sectors, including real estate.
This is the first time the exhibition will be held in Egypt, and its 14th edition regionally, having previously been focused in the Gulf region.
An estimated 10,000 visitors are expected to attend the exhibition. Prime Minister Sherif Ismail, and the ministers of housing, investment planning, irrigation, and antiquities are set to attend EREEX’s opening. Real estate developers, CEOs of property firms and businessmen are also expected to attend.
A conference will run parallel with the exhibition and is set to highlight and discuss opportunities and challenges in the real estate sector.
EREEX is a potential ground for new capital, deals, and MOUs to make their way into the Egyptian market, particularly from Kuwaiti companies.
