Emaar Misr has announced hosting Egypt’s first celebration of fashion and innovation at its flagship project on Mokattam Hills, Uptown Cairo, Invest-Gate reports.

The four-day event, or “Fashion Central,” will be held from November 4 to 7, bringing over 20 designers from all over Egypt and the Middle East to Cairo, namely Okhtein, Jude Ben Halim, Kojak, Roni Helou, Dima Jewelry, and many more internationally-renowned designers.

Sahar Nasr, the former Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, will be attending as an honorary guest speaker.

Fashion Central will also include workshops and panel discussions by industry leaders on fashion photography, brand building, on top of jewelry designing by Azza Fahmy Design Studio.

Other exciting features vary between styling sessions, entertainment, food and beverages, paired with the presence of luxury fabric brand Salem Alta Moda to support the designer’s needs.

Most importantly, the fashion week will bear a hand to Lebanese creatives and artists as a response to the devastating Beirut Explosion on August 4. Donations will be collected, and select jewelry pieces will be auctioned, with all proceeds pledged to Lebanon.
