Dubai-based developer Nakheel expects to award a contract for the construction of a twin-building residential complex at Dragon City community in Dubai by the end of 2017, Invest-Gate reports.
The developer is currently assessing five proposals, with bids starting at just under AED 900 mn, for the construction of Dragon Towers scheduled for completion in 2020.
The complex comprises 1,140 one- and two-bedroom apartments across two buildings linked to Dragon Mart retail and trading hub.
The complex will also boast two retail floors, four parking floors, a podium-level swimming pool, a restaurant and a gym.
Dragon City’s vicinity includes a 251-room Ibis Styles opened in February 2016, as well as a 304-room Premier Inn, a 375,000-square-feet showroom complex, and a car park under construction.
