A public lottery will take place Sunday at the Arab Contractors Stadium to allocate 2,654 land plots located in Badr City as part of the scheme for allocating 16,400 land plots in eight new cities, reported Al Borsa.

The lottery will extend to two days until Monday in efforts to distribute special land plots among investors, and only applicants who hold a receipt for a down payment are allowed to attend the event, according to Tarek El Sebaey, Supervisor of the Commercial and Real Estate Sector at the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA).

The results for the lottery are expected to be announced on NUCA’s official website, at the Housing & Development Bank, and headquarters of the cities’ authorities where the lands are located.

NUCA previously allocated special land plots in the cities of 6th of October City, Sadat City, 10th of Ramadan City, Borg El Arab City; while some land plots are awaiting allocation in three cities located in Upper Egypt.
