A new phase of the National Roads Project, including a 55 kilometer road connecting Al Minya to Sheikh Fadl at a cost of EGP 435 million, is set to launch, according to the Ministry of Transport.
EMAC Contractors, an affiliate of Kuwait-based Al Kuwait’s Al Kharafi & Sons Group, is expected to complete 77-kilometer roadwork in one year, said EMAC Executive Manager Samir Fathy.
Mokhtar Ibrahim, an Egypt-based construction company, is scheduled to wrap up construction work on four new bridges in the state National Roads Project in December of 2016.
