Cairo University to Renovate Three Slum Areas in Giza

Cairo University will renovate three slum areas in the Giza governorate in an effort to support residents in these areas and offer public services as per the approval of University Dean Gaber Nassar, Invest-Gate reports.

Slum Development Fund to Embark on New 200 Acre Project

A new urban development project is due to be built in Al Salam district, east Cairo on the Belbeis Road over a 200 acre area. The project is a collaboration between the Slum Development Fund and the Integrated Urbanism and Sustainable Design Program at Ain Shams University.
Slum Development Fund to Develop El Kassara Area in Beheira

Slum Development Fund and Beheira Governorate have announced plans to develop El Kassara area in the city of Rashid, as it is considered hazardous. The area suffers from sewage and drainage problems which led to the deterioration of the buildings.
