Eng. Randa El-Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held a series of meetings with the heads of real estate development and marketing companies, including City Edge Developments, Founders, and Saudi Egyptian Developers, at the New Alamein City Authority headquarters. The meetings aimed to follow up on the rates of marketing, sales, and delivery of units in projects belonging to the New Urban Communities Authority, as well as the status of partnership projects. The meetings were attended by Dr. Walid Abbas, Deputy Minister of Housing for Urban Communities, ministry officials, and the head of the New Alamein City Authority. The goal was to maximize the benefit from investments made in development projects and increase occupancy rates in new cities, Invest-Gate reports.
Ministry’s Follow-Up on Sales and Deliveries
Eng. Randa El-Menshawy confirmed that the Ministry of Housing regularly follows up on the sales, marketing, and delivery of units in different projects as part of the state’s plan to maximize returns from urban development projects. She pointed out that the ministry has successfully implemented a large number of housing and development projects in various new cities over the past years. This requires continued improvement of marketing and promotion methods and increasing the attractiveness of projects to attract investors and customers and achieve sustainable urban development goals.
Reviewing Sales and Partnership Projects
The meetings reviewed the status of sales and deliveries in a number of New Urban Communities Authority projects in several new cities, including the New Capital, Sheikh Zayed, New Alamein, New Mansoura, and New Cairo.
The meetings also discussed a number of proposals for offering new investment opportunities and expanding partnership projects with the private sector in different forms, through mechanisms aimed at attracting more investors and real estate developers, supporting urban development plans, and achieving the best use of the state’s assets and projects.
Directives at the End of the Meetings
At the end of the meetings, Eng. Randa El-Menshawy directed the fast completion of procedures for delivering ready units to buyers according to the set timelines, while fully complying with the highest quality standards. She also stressed the importance of continuing well-planned marketing campaigns using the latest marketing methods to increase sales and occupancy rates, maximize returns from projects, and support the state’s efforts to develop integrated and sustainable urban communities.
