Eng. Randa El-Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, issued four decisions to remove several building violations carried out in breach of approved requirements and permits in the First and Second Sectors of the North Coast and Sadat City. The decisions aim to curb unauthorised construction and preserve the urban and planning character of cities and areas under the ministry’s jurisdiction, Invest-Gate reports.

The decisions included the removal of building violations at the entrance of a tourist village north of the Alexandria-Matrouh coastal road, including the construction of a wall and a ground-floor structure with a concrete roof within the jurisdiction of the First Sector Development Authority of the North Coast, without obtaining the required building permits.

Building Violations at a Tourist Village in the Second Sector

The decisions also covered the removal of building violations at a chalet in a tourist village north of the coastal road, within the jurisdiction of the Second Sector Development Authority of the North Coast. The violations involved constructing a building consisting of a ground floor, first floor and second upper floor using red bricks and concrete, without a permit.

Removing Violations in Sadat City

The decisions further included the removal of building violations on a plot of land in the Al-Zaytoun residential area, First Neighbourhood, in Sadat City. The violations involved constructing columns and walls for a third upper floor without a permit.

The decisions come as part of continued efforts to firmly address unauthorised construction and encroachments, while taking the necessary legal measures to preserve urban planning and prevent random practices or violations that could negatively affect the visual character of new cities and urban areas.
