Delta Capital and Nations of Sky Begin Construction of the First and Second Phases of the ISLA Project, Valued at EGP 9 Bn.

Delta Capital for Urban Developments and Nations of Sky have announced the commencement of construction works on the ISLA project in New Mansoura City, following the award of the first and second phases to SCAD Contracting and Fekra Contracting, with total contracts valued at EGP 9 billion. The works commenced on August 9, 2026, under the engineering supervision of YBA, Invest-Gate reports.

Project Development Plan to Be Implemented in Three Phases

The commencement of construction comes as part of the company’s plan to develop the project, which spans 340 feddans, in accordance with an approved execution programme. The company plans to develop the first phase across approximately 100 feddans over 36 months, while the entire project will be developed through three successive phases.

Eng. Ahmed El-Nasr, CEO of the company, said that the commencement of construction represents a major milestone in the development of the ISLA project and reflects the company’s commitment to transforming its vision for the project into reality while adhering to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. He noted that construction works have already commenced on site in line with the planned programme.

Meanwhile, Eng. Mostafa El-Sherif, Chief Development Officer (CDO), explained that the works were awarded to SCAD Contracting and Fekra Contracting following a technical evaluation process, with the aim of leveraging execution and engineering expertise capable of delivering the project’s targets. He added that the coming period is expected to witness a significant acceleration in construction activities on site.

ISLA Project Components and Development Targets

The ISLA project spans 340 feddans in New Mansoura City and comprises five main islands integrating residential, commercial, entertainment, and service components. It also includes the Cabo commercial district, which forms part of the project’s master plan and covers 30 feddans, in addition to a distinctive waterfront, green spaces, and open areas, strengthening its position as one of the prominent urban and investment projects in the East Delta region.

The company aims to complete the entire project within five years under an integrated execution plan, with further updates on the project’s development and successive phases to be announced in the coming period.
