Cabinet Approves Partnership Between Urban Development Fund and DCUD to Develop 48 Feddans in Al-Mahalla Al-Kubra

Urban Development Fund and Delta Capital Launch Partnership to Develop Al-Mahalla Al-Kubra Land

The Cabinet, headed by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, approved a partnership between the Urban Development Fund and Delta Capital to establish an integrated urban project on the Al-Mostamaraa Land in Al-Mahalla Al-Kubra, invest-gate reports.

Partnership to Be Based on a Revenue-Sharing Model

The partnership between the Urban Development Fund and Delta Capital will be structured under a revenue-sharing model, with the fund receiving a percentage of the project’s revenues.

Delta Capital Awarded Development of 47.96 Feddans in Al-Mahalla Al-Kubra

Following the approval, the partnership between the Urban Development Fund and Delta Capital will enter into effect. Last year, Delta Capital was awarded the development of 47.96 feddans owned by the Urban Development Fund in Al-Mahalla Al-Kubra to establish an integrated urban project.

Delta Capital Develops Three Major Projects Across 120 Feddans

Established in 2015, Delta Capital has successfully contributed to urban development along the Delta coast of the Mediterranean Sea. The company has developed three major projects spanning 120 feddans, two of which are already operational with a total of 4,000 units, while the third is currently being delivered. The company has also strengthened its market position through its partnership with Nations of Sky to develop the Isla project in New Mansoura.

Delta Capital owns a land portfolio across the Delta region and West Cairo, including October and Sheikh Zayed. EGP 9 Billion in Contracts for the First and Second Phases of ISLA

Delta Capital and Nations of Sky announced the commencement of construction works at the ISLA project in New Mansoura, following the award of contracts for the first and second phases to SCAD Contracting and Fikra Contracting, with total contracts valued at EGP 9 billion. The announcement was made on August 9, 2026, with YBA serving as the engineering consultant.

ISLA Spans 340 Feddans and Features Five Main Islands

The ISLA project is being developed across 340 feddans in New Mansoura and comprises five main islands integrating residential, commercial, entertainment, and service components. The master plan also includes the Cabo commercial district, spanning 30 feddans, in addition to a distinctive waterfront, green spaces, and open areas, reinforcing the project’s position as one of the most prominent urban and investment developments in the East Delta region.
