Chairman of China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC), the company responsible for establishing the business and financial district in the New Administrative Capital (NAC), said the firm plans to train 10,000 Egyptian construction workers through free training courses as it builds the business district of NAC, Invest-Gate reports.
The chairman’s remarks came during his meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, on the sidelines of Madbouly’s visit to attend China International Import Expo taking place in Shanghai, China from November 5 to 10.
For his part, Madbouly highlighted that choosing the Chinese company was based on the fact that it is one of the best contractors worldwide.
He added that CSCEC is making rapid progress with the implementation of the new capital’s governmental districts, urging the Chinese company to continue with the same progress.
The firm will begin developing the district’s second phase as soon as the agreement gets finalized and work on it will start in parallel with the first phase.
The Chinese company noted that it is very aware that the officials from both countries are very concerned with the construction process and they will do their best to finish the project as scheduled.
