Exclusive: Africa’s Highest Skyscraper in NAC to be Managed by Raffles

Deputy Minister of Housing for National Projects Khaled Abbas has exclusively revealed to Invest-Gate that the ministry will soon announce its partnership with leading global hospitality company Raffles, which will manage Africa’s highest skyscraper in the New Administrative Capital (NAC), Invest-Gate reports.

“Raffles provides the elitist services and have around 12 locations worldwide. This will be their second project in the Middle East, after Dubai,” Abbas officially stated to Invest-Gate.

“[The government is] keen to have downtown Cairo a piazza like that of the old European cities, as we relocate the administrative entities of this country outside at the NAC. We want to revamp Cairo and bring it back to its glory,” the deputy minister elaborated.

The skyscraper, which will supposedly be developed by China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC), is located at the NAC’s Central Business District, which spans across 195 acres and comprises 20 towers for residential, administrative, commercial, and other services.

One of the towers is expected to be the tallest in Africa at 385 meters – which is set to be managed by Raffles.
