Egypt-based Hassan Allam Construction (HAC), a subsidiary of Hassan Allam Holding, has announced a new project award for the development of the Commercial International Bank’s (CIB) new headquarters project in the New Administrative Capital (NAC), Invest-Gate reports.

“HAC’s scope covers complete civil, architectural, mechanical, and electrical construction spanning a 20-month project duration,” the company confirmed in an official statement on January 2.

According to HAC, the new CIB headquarters is set to be a “state-of-art smart building” that stretches over 52,000 square meters of built-up area, featuring a modern architectural design.

Since the inauguration of the NAC in 2015, HAC has been awarded a number of landmark and strategic projects in the new capital, developing over 1 mn square meters of key infrastructure and special buildings.

Back in July 2018, the Egyptian housing ministry awarded HAC a mixed-use development project in the R5 district in the NAC, whereby the firm will develop a mixed-use complex inspired by “Khedival Cairo architectural style,” according to a previous statement.

“HAC has been awarded this project on a turnkey basis- including related infrastructure and landscape works – with a total built-up area of 558,000 square meters (including 160,000 square meters basements),” read the statement.
