Egyptian tycoon Naguib Sawiris’ Ora Developers, formerly Gemini Global Development, has started offering units for sale at ZED’s pre-launch phase, its first Egypt-based residential project in 6th of October City, west Cairo, Invest-Gate reports.
Stretching over 165 acres in a prime spot in Sheikh Zayed, ZED is slated to be the district’s first multi-tower development as it will feature two residential towers, offering a number of serviced apartments with sizes ranging between 135 and 250 square meters.
Directly overlooking Sheikh Zayed’s lush central park, the higher building is 60 meters high, whereat mixed-use facilities have been interwoven into its 20 stories. The first three floors in the Y-shaped tower block are dedicated to boutique retail outlets and a clubhouse, while the rest will boast an array of two-, three-, and four-bedroom apartments.
The tower’s apartments are scheduled for delivery within four years with prices starting at EGP 29,000 per square meter.
The other mid-rise apartment building is composed of ten floors and offers two- and three-bedroom apartments with areas up to 211 square meters, as well as, four-bedroom units that vary between garden apartments and penthouses with areas ranging from 237 to 242 square meters.
The second building’s apartments are to be handed over in three and a half years, at a starting price of EGP 19,000 per square meter.
Through a six-year payment plan, with 10% down payment, ZED’s potential customers are to relish a state-of-the-art pedestrian retail boulevard, a five-star hotel, and unconventional commercial and office buildings – amidst a series of interconnected green spaces.
