Egypt’s property developer Mabany Edris has announced plans to inaugurate its newest mixed-use project in 6th of October City, “The Block,” during H2 2020, with investments estimated at EGP 200 mn, Invest-Gate reports.

CEO of Mabany Edris Mohamed Edris said The Block is an integrated commercial and administrative complex, covering 3,000 square meters in west Cairo and located in close proximity to Green 4 – one of the developer’s residential projects in Sheikh Zayed, according to a recent press statement.

With unit sizes starting from 100 square meters, The Block aims to meet the needs of all customers, including companies, banks, and major commercial chains, Edris elaborated.

He further noted that the complex encompasses three floors – 1,000 square meters each, of which the ground floor is dedicated to shops, restaurants, and banks, while the first and second stories will have administrative and medical units.

Mabany Edris targets opening another administrative complex in the northern expansion area of 6th of October City, coming simultaneously with the inauguration of The Block, the CEO revealed.

Meanwhile, according to Edris, the company has gone a long way in negotiations with the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), represented in New Assiut City Authority, to obtain a land plot to develop an integrated urban project in the new city.
