Sixth of October Development and Investment’s (SODIC) key corporate citizenship program Educate Me has signed a cooperation protocol with the Ministry of Education to support education transformation in Egypt, Invest-Gate reports.

The real estate developer held a celebration at the Ministry of Education’s premises in the attendance of Education Minister Tarek Shawky, Head of the Public Education Sector Reda Hegazy, alongside Educate Me Founder and CEO Yasmin Helal and Co-founder Mohamed Fawzy El Haw, according to a statement by SODIC on July 4.

According to the statement, the protocol aims to enhance the quality of education in public, technical, and community schools, while targeting students from all educational levels in addition to school staff and faculty.

Hailing the signing, SODIC’s Managing Director Magued Sherif noted, “By partnering with the ministry, Educate Me is effecting impact on a nationwide scale. We could not be more proud of having walked this journey with Educate Me over the past six years and up to this big moment.”

Backed by SODIC and venture philanthropy organization Alfanar, Educate Me has annually provided quality education to over 45,000 beneficiaries over the past three years, aspiring to redefine education nationwide through a progressive learner-centered and skill-based education model.
