A World Bank delegation is to visit Egypt on August 20-24 to reimburse the third tranche of a loan that aims at supporting Egypt’s social and economic development program, Invest-Gate reports.
The third tranche of the USD 3 bn loan is estimated at USD 1 bn. During the visit, the delegation will discuss with Egyptian officials the procedures for reimbursing the third tranche of the loan.
The WB delegation will also pay another visit to Egypt in September to discuss development in Upper Egypt.
This came during a meeting between Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr and World Bank Regional Director Asaad Alem.
