Emaar Misr To Expand Investments Across Egypt

Leading real estate developer, Emaar Misr, plans to expand with a number of projects, including social housing projects in New El- Alamein City along with Egypt’s New Administrative Capital and South Sinai, Invest-Gate reports.

Emaar Misr CEO Mohamed Al Dahan expresses interest in a major portfolio expansion across Egypt, namely New El-Alamein City, New Administrative Capital, and South Sinai, following his joint meeting with Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr.

According to a released statement, Al Dahan accompanied Nasr in an on-site inspection mission at New El-Alamein City, where Emaar Misr projects are to be located. Aside from its private Class-A developments in the new city, Emaar Misr is also to assist the government with its social housing project. “The planned social housing project is to be developed on demined land plots,” Nasr’s official statement reads.

Furthermore, Minister of Housing Madbouly has expressed the government’s eagerness on demining the rest of Egypt’s western desert, from El-Alamein to Marsa Matrouh, in efforts to attract more developers to help complete Egypt’s social housing projects in the area. ”

Speaking on behalf of Emaar Properties Chairman Mohamed Alabbar, El-Dahan confirms, “We are keen on working side-by-side with the Egyptian government to help boost the Egyptian economy and create as many job opportunities as we can.”

“AlAbbar is keen on starting Emaar’s projects in New El-Alamein City as soon as possible,” Al Dahan comments.
