Dubai-based DAMAC Properties has been named the “Property Developer of the Year UAE 2019” at the International Business Magazine Awards, on the back of over AED 480 mn worth of awarded contracts, among other merits, Invest-Gate reports.

Further factors for DAMAC’s selection for the award include the delivery of 1,500 units in H1 2019, together with some handovers at Ghalia, its first Sharia-compliant development, besides others at “Claret,” a cluster of its landmark 55 mn square-feet flagship in Dubai, or “AKOYA,” according to the company’s statement on September 18.

On the developer’s first-of-its-kind win, DAMAC’s Senior Vice-President Niall McLoughlin highlighted, “Congratulations to the entire DAMAC team, our agents, and all those who have been instrumental to our continued success. Our customer-centric and innovative approach to real estate is the foundation of our growth story.”

Meanwhile, Chief Editor of International Business Magazine Trishna Das noted, “There is no stopping this juggernaut of real estate in UAE, as DAMAC Properties is becoming the very heart and soul of luxury living in the UAE.”
