Egypt to Fund EGP 64 bn in Housing Development in 2017/18

The Egyptian government is to pump investments worth EGP 64 bn to develop housing communities and public facilities as part of its development program for the fiscal year 2017/18, Invest-Gate reports.
The government’s plan comes as part of its sustainable development strategy for the fiscal year 2017/18. The plan includes launching more housing projects that can help enhance the living standards of the Egyptian citizens, and achieve social equality.
Among the huge projects in the plan is the social housing project, infrastructure projects and the upgrade of shanty areas.
