Elsewedy Industrial Development (SD), a subsidiary of Elsewedy Electric, launched a roadshow in Paris, France in February during the “French Egyptian Commercial and Industrial Day,” Invest-Gate reports

Elsewedy Electric signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Business France agency, aiming to promote joint business initiatives and opportunities between both parties, according to an official statement. As a part of this agreement, the companies will also employ their capabilities to expand cooperation and optimize gains for their respective counterparts in Egypt, Africa, and the Middle East.

During the event, Ahmed Elsewedy, president and CEO of Elsewedy Electric and chairman of SD, and Mohamed El Kammah, CEO of SD, met with key representatives from the French industry to promote Egypt as a significant investment destination, as well as to highlight SD’s broad scope of businesses.

In cooperation with the Ghorfa Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, SD’s roadshow will continue its roadshow in Munich, Stuttgart, and Düsseldorf in Germany over the next few days.

“Our industrial parks provide a valuable opportunity for investors given the cutting-edge facilities and service offerings as well as a strong supply of well-trained human capital, ” El Kammah said.

With five industrial cities in operation and a land bank of 25 mn square meters across ten projects in Egypt and Africa, SD provides infrastructure and manufacturing facilities, utilities, and value-added service offerings for over 250 clients including L’Oréal, Mantrac, Kapci, Indomie, among many others.
