Saudi Arabia has over USD 250 bn worth of projects in the pipeline, with their main construction contracts are yet to be awarded, Invest-Gate reports.

The Kingdom’s pipeline of unawarded projects accounts to 39% of the GCC’s, according to Saudi Arabia 2017: Delivering Vision 2030 report by MEED.

The Saudi energy sector has the biggest pipeline of unawarded project contracts at nearly USD 82 bn, representing 33% of the national total, according to the report. The construction sector is the second biggest segment at 29%, followed by the transport sector at 27%.
