Switzerland plans to pump investments in Egypt worth CHF 86 million as part of a strategic plan that will operate between 2017 to 2020, Egynews reports.

These investments come as part of Egypt 2030 vision and will take place in industrial projects, medical projects, and the Suez Canal Economic Zone.

“The international partnership between Egypt and Switzerland is strategically important as Egypt is our gateway to Africa,” says Swiss Ambassador in Cairo Markus Leitner.

Investment and International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr and Leitner discussed the investment plans in a Cairo meeting.
