China Road and Bridge Corporation is willing to invest in Egypt’s transport projects, especially in the construction of a multi-purpose terminal in the port of Safaga, Invest-Gate reports.

The company’s officials express such willingness during their meeting with Minister of Transport Hisham Arafat.

During the meeting, Arafat says that the port of Safaga is very important to the country as it is close to the Golden Triangle, which is a promising investment area south of Egypt.

The government is planning to establish a multi-purpose terminal in the port of Safaga in order to increase the port’s capacity to 1.5 mn containers.
