The government is to inaugurate Juhaina West village on April 29 as part of a joint initiative aimed at reconstructing the neediest villages, Invest-Gate reports.

Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr, Minister of Trade and Industry Tarek Qabil and business tycoon Ahmed Abou Hashima will inaugurate the village.

Located in Sohag, Juhaina West is the 12th village on a list of 40 targeted in the initiative with a total capital of EGP 170 mn.

The reconstruction process in Juhaina West comprises the reconstruction of 50 houses equipped with furniture and electrical appliances. The villagers would also be provided with a total of 50 cattle with a monthly food insurance of EGP 400, in addition to 24 small projects. The initiative also covers the marriage of 10 orphan girls.
