The government is opening a new integrated laboratory to test and monitor the quality of roads in New Aswan city, Upper Egypt, Invest-Gate reports.

A cooperation protocol was signed between the New Aswan Municipalities and the consultative center of the Faculty of Engineering at Aswan University in order to manage the laboratory in the presence of the municipalities’ geologist for a specified period.

“This laboratory comes as part of directives made by Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Mostafa Madbouly to the new city authorities to monitor the quality of raw materials used in paving roads,” says Director of New Aswan Authority Mostafa Saeed.
