Landmark Sabbour, Ahl Masr Sign Protocol for Healthcare Personnel

Egypt’s real estate developer Landmark Sabbour has signed a partnership protocol with  Ahl Masr Foundation in a bid to support its campaign to protect healthcare personnel working in government hospitals, Invest-Gate reports.

Under the protocol, the developer will provide and distribute a set of protective clothing to healthcare staff in Kasr El Ainy and El Demerdash hospitals over the course of one month, according to the company’s press release on April 16.

“This partnership with Ahl Masr comes from our deep sense of social responsibility towards this country and its people. Effectively taking part in this initiative is our duty at this stage as we collectively stand in the face of this crisis and work to curb the spread of COVID-19,” said Amr Sultan, managing director of Landmark Sabbour.

Sultan also stressed, “We stand behind all the noble efforts carried out by government institutions during these times, especially the work of healthcare providers; doctors, nurses, and medical service providers. Therefore, it is necessary to lend them a helping hand as they undertake this strenuous task, as a way to show our appreciation and gratitude for all the trouble they go through and sacrifices they make.”

On her part, Heba Elsewedy, founder and chairwoman of Ahl Masr Foundation, highlighted, “What we are doing as Ahl Masr Foundation, along with many other local institutions and private-sector entities [such as] Landmark Sabbour, is a required national duty that we all should be part of during these difficult times,” referring to the foundation’s “Protecting the White Army is Our Responsibility” initiative.

Landmark Sabbour has started by taking all precautionary measures to maintain the health and safety of its employees in both its administrative facilities as well as construction sites.

On the other hand, Ahl Masr Foundation is the non-profit organization behind the launch of the “Protecting the White Army is Our Responsibility” initiative in 2013. The initiative aims to support physicians and nursing personnel, while providing them with protective clothing as well as offering a range of medical equipment to hospitals and ambulance services in Cairo and other governorates.
