The government is drawing up detailed blueprints of the Giza neighborhoods in preparation for launching a major developmental project, Invest-Gate reports.
Giza Governor Mohamed El-Daly said that the blueprints also come as part of the governorate’s strategy to determine the needs of each neighborhood in the city and and accommodate the growing population. However, the governor did not give details about the planned project.
This plan is being prepared by the General Organization for Public Planning (GOPP), an affiliate to the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities. It is expected to be approved by the Egyptian cabinet in the coming months, according to a statement released by the governorate.
