The government will be offering citizens 1,465 special land plots located in 6th of October City, Badr City, and 10th of Ramadan City on the outskirts of Cairo, Invest-Gate reports.

The lands will be offered to applicants who have previously signed up for residential units in these cities last May and June; and were not able to receive their lands, according to a statement released by the state-run New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA).

“This comes as part of efforts to meet a growing demand on land acquisition in new cities and to fulfill the government’s development goals in urban development,” says Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Mostafa Madbouly.

Applicants may provide a down payment at the Housing and Development Bank from March 26 to April 6.
