Egyptian Federation for Construction & Building Contractors (EFCBC) in collaboration with Excellent Agency is to hold the third “National Projects: Patriotic Vision to the Future” conference held on March 14, Invest-Gate reports.
Egypt’s builders and constructors will gather to discuss potential public-private sector partnerships in national projects, mutual investment interests, and investment challenges that lies, according to a released statement.
Prime Minister Sherif Ismail will be in attendance at the conference to discuss funds and the availability of construction materials, and to set a strategic plan, directing Egyptian contractors to smart building and sustainable solutions.
“The timing of the conference is crucial this year as it comes amid economic challenges imposed by the VAT, the float of the EGP, and petroleum price hikes, which all led to major price differences in companies’ contracts,” says Head of EFCBC Hassan Abdel Aziz.
Abdel Aziz adds that the conference will showcase achievements conducted in national projects, including the Suez Canal Economic Zone, Suez Canal Tunnels, New Administrative Capital City, One Million & Half a Million Acres project, the social housing project, and electricity stations.
