Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Mostafa Madbouly announced plans for several development projects in Sinai, Giza, and Upper Egypt at a cost of EGP 14.6 bn through cooperation with the Central Authority for Construction, Invest-Gate reports.
The developments include infrastructure projects costing a total of EGP 13.6 bn and public service projects worth EGP 938 mn, according to a New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) statement.
The Central Authority for Construction is currently executing 21 new roads and corridors across Egypt, water projects, 650 houses in Halayeb and Shalateen, the development of 38 villages in Zaher Desert, developing 1000 houses in Nubia, as well as 294 Bedouin homes in Ismailia and Sinai.
Other infrastructure projects include the EGP 275 mn El Fangary Corridor connecting Rod El Farag to the new Administrative Capital City.
