The Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities plans to develop a touristic development alongside the Nile Corniche in Aswan, Invest-Gate reports.

The touristic project features a park and an entertainment area with facilities such as a cinema, coffee shops, and restaurants, according to the ministry’s statement.

This comes as part of a plan to enhance urban development in Aswan discussed on January 31 between Minister of Housing Mostafa Madbouly and Maher Stino, the project’s consultant, the statement reads.

Madbouly urged developers and contractors to proceed with leveling the lands and begin construction works of the project’s basic foundation.
