The Egyptian government is to proceed with construction of 1,102 barriers in cooperation with the National Authority for Tunnels & Railways (NATR) and the Ministry of Transportation, Invest-Gate reports.

Minister of Transportation Galal El Saeed states, “The total number of existing barriers found on railways amounts to 1,332 barriers,” adding that NAT has completed the construction of 474 barriers from the total planned 1,102 barriers, according to a released statement.
