Minister of International Cooperation Sahar Nasr and Parliamentary Speaker Ali Abdel-Aal visited a number of development projects for inspecting and identifying the challenges facing the people of Aswan on January 30, Invest-Gate reports.
This comes in response to President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi’s recommendations issued by the second National Youth Conference held last weekend in Aswan, according to a statement.
Additionally, accompanied by Secretary General of the Social Fund for Development (SFD) Nevin Gamee, the delegation headed to Al-Hegr Hamlet at Daraw sub-governorate to visit El-Gaafra Canal Rehabilitation Project financed by the World Bank with EGP 1 mn and implemented by the General Administration for Water Resources & Irrigation in Aswan.
Together with the Governor of Aswan, Abdel-Aal inaugurated the traffic unit and inspected the city’s state of art and technology. “I’m pleased to be in my birthplace, Daraw,” said Abdel-Aal, explaining that the inauguration of some projects in Aswan would be extended to Upper Egypt’s governorates, which requires popular solidarity.
