Following a public auction for commercial units at Dar Misr project in Sadat City, including six shops and a pharmacy, the City’s Development Authority reported that the cost per square meter has reached EGP 33,600 at its highest, Al Borsa reported.

According to the article by Al Borsa, Head of City Authority Mohamed Ashour stated that the square meter for a supermarket, for example, costs EGP 31,000. The price for a restaurant space is EGP 25,200 per square meter and that of a barbershop space is EGP 24,000 per square meter. Ashour attributed price hikes to the high quality of the project in such a location.
