The New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) plans to invest EGP 13 bn in the new cities of Upper Egypt in both the current and upcoming fiscal years together, Invest-Gate reports.
During a symposium at the National Youth Conference on January 27, the Ministry of Housing of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities demonstrated the number of projects it intends to develop in Aswan. Earlier, Minister Mostafa Madbouly stated that the ministry has completed the completion of 66,000 social housing units in Upper Egypt and another 40,000 units are being built, bringing the total number of units that have been and are being implemented in Upper Egypt to 106,000 units, Al Borsa reports.
Among the projects, NUCA has dedicated a total area of 14.77 acres to develop schools as part of the “Nile Schools” system across cities of New Beni Sueif, New Assiut, and New Aswan.
