The Minister of Investment Dalia Khorshid met with the Emirati Omar Al Futtaim Group and the CEOs of Lazard, Credit Suisse, and Citybank on January 20, at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, the ministry reported.  

The commercial investors expressed their eagerness to organize and participate in the upcoming promotional tours to be undertaken by the ministry to promote the positive economic and investment climate in Egypt.

“You will have a major role to play during the next phase in the Egyptian market of unprecedented economic and investment activity,” Khorshid told the investment banks.

The minister also met with the head of Koç Holding A.Ş., the top industrial conglomerate in Turkey, who expressed his aspiration to expand through the chains owned by the parent group, rather than working through distributors in Egypt.
