The Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities is offering 35,000 social housing units for middle-income citizens in New Cairo, 6th of October City, Obour City, Badr City, New Minya, and New Damietta, reported Al Borsa.

A report has been conducted on Dar Misr project, highlighting the ministry’s role in completing its first phase, which consists of 31,000 units, according to Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Mostafa Madbouly. The ministry will also offer social housing units in West of Qena and West of Assiut.

Currently, the ministry is following up on facilities projects across new developments including the New Administrative Capital, New Alamein City, and East Port Said.

According to the article, the ministry is to develop a- 70- acre- park in Sheikh Zayed in the near future. The park is to be considered the second largest park in Egypt and will feature coffee shops and restaurants.
