Emaar Properties plans to build a- 2 mn-square- foot mixed-use development in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, reported Gulf Business on Wednesday.
The first phase will comprise a five-star hotel, serviced residences and a retail precinct, all located on Ras Al Khaimah’s first man-made Al Marjan Island that is set to become a touristic and leisure hub.
Ras Al Khaimah is aiming to boost tourism figures to reach three million tourists by 2025. Its hospitality occupancy rate went up by 13.6% during the first nine months of 2016.
