Lafarge Egypt Signs Partners with LMS Construction

Lafarge Egypt, a subsidiary of LafargeHolcim Group, has signed an agreement with LMS Construction, for the first time in Egypt, Invest-Gate reports.
Solomon Baumgartner Aviles CEO of Lafarge Egypt praises this new partnership, saying, “We are pleased to contract with LMS Construction to manage to supply about half a million cubic meters of concrete for one of the biggest real estate development brands in New Cairo,” according to a company press release on January 4.

He further adds “Lafarge Egypt and LMS Construction are currently studying many other exceptional projects that will enhance cooperation to advance the concepts of sustainable construction and building in Egypt.”

On his part, Amr Al-Kayyal, Chairman of LMS Construction reveals, “Our partnership with Lafarge came with the start of construction of One Ninety project, one of the most important and largest real estate schemes in New Cairo.”

“At this project, we seek to create a new concept for residential, commercial, and entertainment life,” he adds.
The board of directors of the two companies witnesses the birth of this agreement, where the two parties agreed on the vision, and the experiences exchange. It is expected to start activating the contract in January 2021, according to the statement.
