Egypt & China to Implement Five Towers in the New Alamein

Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Assem El Gazzar, Mohamed Al-Badri, the Egyptian Ambassador to China, and Liao Liqiang, the Chinese Ambassador to Egypt sign a contract for the implementation of five residential towers in the New Alamein City, Invest-Gate reports.

El Gazzar elaborates that the project consists of five fully-finished residential towers overlooking an artificial lake. The complex encompasses an iconic tower with a height of 250 m (68 floors) with a total surface area of ​​465,000 sqm and is scheduled to be implemented in 45 months, and four towers with a height of 200 m (56 floors), with a total surface area of ​​320,000 sqm, and it is scheduled to be implemented in 39 months. He further confirms that New Urban Communities Authority will fund the project.

On his part, Liqiang expresses his happiness and his honor to implement Al-Alamein Towers project, and to participate in the signing ceremony, stressing that since the beginning of the outbreak of the Coronavirus, Egypt and China have cooperated, as Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi sent a solidarity message to the Chinese President Xi Jinping, and the Egyptian Minister of Health as well has visited China.
