Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Assem El Gazzar visits inspects the progress works in the fifth residential neighborhood, “New Garden City”, Invest-Gate reports.

This comes during the minister’s tour accompanied by officials of the Ministry and the New Urban Communities Authority. at the New Administrative Capital to follow up on the utility services in the governmental district.

New Garden City spans over an area of ​​885 acres with 385 residential buildings,21,494 housing units, 513 commercial units, and 456 connected, semi-connected and separate villas. The neighborhood includes educational, entertainment, commercial, sports, and religious services, according to an official statement.

“A different architectural design is utilized for this neighborhood, inspired by the old French style, to resemble the architectural designs in Garden City and Downtown Cairo”, the statement reads. During the tour, El Gazzar also inspect the government district, and the infrastructure works for the entire neighborhood.
