Minister of Housing Tackles “Hayat Kareema” Project

Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Assem El Gazzar holds a meeting to follow up on projects of the presidential initiative ” Hayat Kareema”, Invest-Gate reports.

The initiative aims to develop the Egyptian countryside. The Minister of Housing explains that the current phase of the presidential initiative includes (utility projects – service projects) in 51 centers at 20 governorates, according to an official statement.

Moreover, El Gazzar emphasizes that the presidential initiative is one of the most important national projects, stressing the need to implement the projects quickly to provide a decent life for the inhabitants of the villages.

On his part, Major General Mahmoud Nassar, head of the Central Reconstruction Agency, reviews development projects that the agency implements, adding that the services projects will be in those governorates (seven in Abu Qurqas Center – four in Al-Adwa Center – three in Dermawas Center – two in Mallawi Center, Minya Governorate, and four in Abnoub Center – seven in Manfalut Center – seven in Dayrout Center – five in Al Fateh Center, Assiut Governorate – four in Nasser Center, Beni Suef Governorate).
He further indicates that 480 bridge projects are scheduled to be implemented in the targeted centers (310 bridges for cars and 170 pedestrian bridges), and the projects include (99 upgrading efficiency – 136 replacement – 245 new construction).
