Office rents in Qatar are bound to continue their decline for the next three years due to oversupply, according to a study by Doha-based Al Asmakh Real Estate, reported ME Construction News on Monday.
The report stated that more and more office space would be supplied until 2019, outweighing the growth in demand and therefore leading to a continuous decline in office rents.
While the public sector has been the main driving force behind office space demand, the trend has started to reserve with rents falling since the beginning of 2016 with the emergence of several ready-to-occupy offices.
