Qatar’s UDC to Launch New Projects at The Pearl

Qatari United Development Company (UDC) announced the signing of three contracts for the construction of three new projects at its flagship project The Pearl-Qatar, according to a press release on Monday.

The total investments are worth QAR 1.2 bn and include the development of Abraj Al Mutahidah Towers in Viva Bahriya as well as infrastructure in Giardino Village and the construction of ten villas there.

Abraj Al Mutahidah Towers will include 480 housing units and retail areas. Leighton Contracting Qatar has been commissioned to carry out the construction works of the towers.

The infrastructure work in Giardino village meanwhile will be undertaken by Nayayuga Engineering Co. while the villas in the same area will be constructed by Promer Qatar.

UDC stated these projects were in line with its five year business plan, aimed at revitalizing investments in new infrastructural developments at The Pearl-Qatar.
